Practise public speaking. Out loud. Near Zuidas.

IMPACT Toastmasters Amsterdam is a small English-speaking club in Buitenveldert, right next to Zuidas. Come straight after work — watch your first time, or try a short impromptu speech. Either way, nobody pushes you.

Not another course. A room to just do it.

Confidence

Think on your feet

Table Topics train you to respond clearly with no preparation — perfect practice for stand-ups, steering-committee questions, and the moment someone puts you on the spot.

English at work

Sound like you own the room

Speak, stumble, restart and improve — in a group that exists exactly for that. Built for people who work in English every day but still freeze when it's their turn to present.

Leadership

Get seen as a leader

Every role during the evening — from Toastmaster to Evaluator — is a small leadership exercise. Members carry these skills straight back into work meetings.

Dirceu Da Silva holding the 2026 World Champion of Public Speaking trophy, Toastmasters International District 59

The World Champion comes from District 59

Dirceu Da Silva became 2026 World Champion of Public Speaking — the highest honour in Toastmasters International — as a member of District 59, the same district IMPACT Toastmasters Amsterdam belongs to. Not our member. Our neighbourhood.

It shows what's possible with practice, inside the same structure you'll experience at every one of our meetings.

What guests and members actually said

"I really enjoyed the evening and the opportunity to speak."

Jodie — guest

"It was a wonderful experience to meet you and hang out after the meeting. Hope to visit again next time I'm in Amsterdam."

Visiting Toastmaster — Texas, USA

"I really enjoyed the session, especially the impromptu speech part."

Fillippos — guest

"It was a great club meeting and a great club vibe. Thanks!"

Simona — guest

No sales pitch. This is a real evening.

IMPACT is one of the newest clubs in District 59. That's not a downside — early guests don't sit in the back, they help shape the room. Every meeting follows the same honest structure, so you know exactly what you're walking into.
